My old [and current] logo finally got around to posting it after changing my screen name.


Contest : I need a slogan so anyone comes up with one will receive 1-3 months subscription.

RULES: got to have rules, right? It must be original and it has to contain a pun my old one for example was "My Work Will Make You Shutter" you may reuse the word shutter.

interesting concept, I never really liked those type of logos I would prefer to keep it in a rounded manner. As far as the slogan I definitely need it to be family friendly. There for both need to be "clean" and simple but needs to stand out.

I was just thinking thinking on a wide aperture shutter with a photographer in the center.

Sorry to say, there are some proportion issues. The type is considerably small compared to the shutter. The type probably should not touch the rings and doesn't look balanced (centered) within the rings. Notice how the ascenders and descender on photography touch the lines, yet on Randalls none of the ascenders touch. The type and rings look bitmapped and should be as clear as the shutter.

It would be more beneficial to have the type and image work as one image. I know it's cliche but perhaps the shutter could replace one of the "o"'s in Photography.

As for slogan(s):
1 Photography that will get you framed.
2 Photography that's well hung. Sex pun what sells better than sex lol Of course you could also say Photography that's hung well.
3 Memories a click away.
4 Capture the moment.
5 Life's moments, one click at a time.
6 We shoot 'em, you hang 'em.

Whatever you do, remember if you're going to use a slogan it should be short, sweet as if to roll off the tongue. It should be catchy, humour always sells and most importantly it should be remember able. Same rules as for a logo.
